Healthcare Business Developer and Recruiter Job Description

Direct Personnel is looking for outside salespeople to join our team. We are an employment staffing agency that specializes in direct hire placements and are looking to expand within the healthcare industry. This position will work remotely from home.

The Healthcare Business Developer and Recruiter, will be responsible for identifying opportunities within the industry and finding, screening and interviewing potential candidates from start to follow-up. This individual will find the most successful channels to recruit and hire the best in Administration, Management, Accounting/Billing, DR's Research, and Healthcare.

We are is looking for an individual that is highly motivated and capable of working autonomously with strong solution producing skills. This individual needs to have the ability to prioritize, be detail-oriented and possess solid organizational and multi-tasking skills. They also must have the ability to expand business through new opportunities and referral sources.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Support and sustain a commitment to excellence
  • Recruit potential employees and clients
  • Locate healthcare opportunities and professionals through various sources, including the Internet, referrals, etc.
  • Interview and screen new candidates
  • Guide candidates through the hiring process
  • Present qualified candidates for interview and processing to consult with clients to provide appropriate staffing solutions
  • Prospect new businesses
  • Communicate effectively
  • Maintain direct communication with candidates, clients, and team members during the recruiting process
  • Perform all other duties as assigned

Position Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2-5 years experience with a staffing agency and/or healthcare background experience in a management position
  • A strong desire to succeed
  • Ability to demonstrate solid judgment
  • Dedicated self-starter with an excellent ability to meet deadlines
  • Excels in a fast-paced environment
  • Good time management
  • Public relations skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and professional telephone manner
  • Ability to think "outside-the-box" to find additional candidates
  • Excellent customer service with both clients and interviewees
  • Must be competent with the computer. Word essential, Excel preferred.
  • Great verbal and written communication skills—ability to write routine reports and correspondence as required by guidelines as well as the ability to respond professionally and appropriately on behalf of Direct Personnel
  • Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science preferred, but not required

This position is a commissioned position with a good compensation for the right individual.
